    This unit develops the basic concepts associated with creative thinking and how to develop it.

     

    It offers guidelines on how to apply it through different mental map models and when designing ARACNE+ training activities.

     

    The aim is for students to try different approaches to dealing with everyday issues.

     

    Unit duration: 120 min.

  • ACTIVITY 1. Apply creative techniques

    The objective of this task is for you to learn about creative thinking and its characteristics by using mental maps to solve different types of approaches and to find a range of solutions.

  • OPTIONAL ACTIVITY 1

    Neuroscientist David Eagleman uses the creative process of several innovators and explores brain flexibility and risk-taking to arouse the creativity that is within everyone.


    Watch: The Creative Brain by David Eagleman (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10338308/ or on Netflix) for discovering a range of creativity processes within different characters. The underlying question would be: What is your creative process and how do you develop it?


    • OPTIONAL ACTIVITY 2

      Exercise the use of creativity in your responses by using the Six Thinking Hats technique, which enables you to see and feel reality in different ways. For this, refer to:
