Objective: The aim of this task is to provide a practical understanding of intellectual property and the legal system, which may be useful for those going through this training.

Effective and informed civic decision-making will be reinforced, with regard to laws and public policies related to intellectual property, creativity and impartiality.

Understanding of the role of government in implementing intellectual property laws will be improved and impartiality will be ensured whilst maintaining creativity.

Basic civic skills will be improved - including creative and critical thinking, communication, observation, and problem solving.

Description:

This activity consists of reading the proposed document ‘What is Intellectual Property?’ written by the World Intellectual Property Organisation, and relates to the questionnaire.
