Reflective reading

OBJECTIVE:

You should present a training project that was already done within the framework of the ARACNE Model methodology. We recommend that you explain that it is not presented as a standard or prototype example, but instead just to help students have a comprehensive vision of the items that make up a training action applied to a real group of people. We hope it will be useful to students as inspiration when they have to plan their own training activities.

DESCRIPTION:

In 2016 the first methodological guide was published on the ARACNE social service model. The promotor organisation of the model FAM Y LIAS RESOURCES FOR DIVERSITY has been applying it experimentally in successive courses, whenever it has had the chance to do so. Although you are aware of the need to develop the model and increase the tools and devices for its applications, we suggest that you reflectively read about one of the real case studies done in a six-month period in 2017.

The goal of this practice is to make the action plan for the different components visible that characterise the training action as part of a job placement pathway.

Thus, please give special attention in this case study to different features that are especially important:

- Management of competencies

- Integral nature of action (core action areas, individual/group)

- Leading role of participants in their own process

- Influence of project on the surrounding area

- Development of alliances

The competencies map is more developed and defined in the current model than in the project presented here.

DEVELOPMENT / METHODOLOGY:

 1. Carefully read the programming that is presented

 2. Reflect on which issues you think need to be highlighted in the project with regard to:

 o Management of competencies

o Integral nature of action (core action areas, individual/group)

o Leading role of participants in their own process

o Influence of project on the surrounding area

 o Development of alliances

 3. Send your comments by email to the mentor for the course.
