Designing training activities by applying the ARACNE Model
OBJECTIVE
ARACNE activities
Training actions are structured into activities for the three core action areas, and should be developed according to the needs, objectives and resources available at any given time.
o The activities that comprise the training actions define which competencies are to be developed
o The activities heed a series of methodological criteria
The objective is to learn to design training activities by applying the ARACNE Model.
DESCRIPTION
How is a training activity designed?
Look at a template:
This
activity consists of understanding the importance of the activities to develop
the training actions and, therefore, to develop the training pathways.
When designing the activities, you can relate them to what was learned in other
learning results.
Development / methodology:
Follow the instructions described below:
- Carefully read the document ‘Designing activities using the ARACNE Model.pdf’
- Explore the tool http://aracne.codefactory.mobi:18080 and research how to search for activities. Go to an already created activity and observe how it is structured.
- Now that you’ve looked at different activity models, use the template ‘Activity worksheet for end users.docx’ to design a training activity centred on your student group, following the principles set out in the document you read in section 1.
Time / length (minutes): 30
Evaluation of activity: Questionnaire
Resources needed for its implementation:
- Document ‘Designing activities using the ARACNE Model.pdf’
- Template ‘Activity worksheet for end users.docx’
- ARACNE+ training platform
