Quizlet - How to use it?

TCC VET How to use it?

Why using this tool – benefits

With Quizlet, there are so many options for you and your students to use. You can use millions of flashcard sets, to teach a variety of topics. It makes the learning fun and engaging for students of all ages and above all, it is very easy to use and accessible for you and your students. You can choose from different types of quiz to play, which makes the tool diverse and alive. For example, Quizlet is an effective tool for studying vocabulary by creating digital flash cards putting the vocabulary word on one side and the definition on the other. It is also possible to use the Match option to practice matching the vocabulary word with the correct definition. You can assess students individually on skills they are learning in class using the Quizlet Test feature. The assessment grading will be done automatically, leaving less work for you as a teacher. You can also provide students who need more assistance on a certain topic, with a link to a study set that offers more help. Another way to use Quizlet is to use it in a group. Open Quizlet Live and use it to play a quiz in class. Students go to Quizlet Live and then type in the unique code you give them. Once all students have joined, they are randomly put into groups. Then the game can begin. It motivates students to collaborate, communicate and actively be involved in the group process.
