This teaching unit lets students gain suitable know-how and tools to manage competency-based training, providing a special look at their development among groups in situations of vulnerability. Students will be trained to design integrated inclusion pathways in the framework of the ARACNE MODEL.

Session length: 60 min5.1. ACTIVITY 1: Initial competency analysis
The objective of this task is to provide you with basic theoretical knowledge so you can later work with the students on their competencies, starting with what each person knows, what he or she knows how to do, wants to do and is willing to do at this time. We will also provide you with complementary materials (optional) if you want to go into greater depth on the subject. Remember that you can continue this unit by looking at the ARACNE Canvas (link) and the document in PREZI, which explains the entire journey and provide tips on activities you can do with the students.

Session length: 180 min5.2. ACTIVITY 1: Break through your limits
The objective of this activity is for you to become familiar with specific concepts that – as a professional – will help you to understand the context and difficulties of your students. They are: what is employability and its indicators; what is an employability diagnosis; what are limiting beliefs and what are intercultural competencies; and how can all of these limit or facilitate a person’s career.

5.2 ACTIVITY 2: MY COMPETENCES TREE
The objective of this task is for your students to seek new learnings that will let them construct a solid professional project, maximise their confidence and motivation to handle a personal and group process to strengthen autonomy and favour the strengthening of flexible networks to deal as a group with improving their work competences and situation.

Session length: 60 min5.3. ACTIVITY 1. OPENING UP PATHS
Objective
Up to now, you have worked with students to analyse their motivations and values, discover their talents and identify their personal and professional interests, which all provide them with a suitcase for the trip filled with all the resources they already have to embark upon the pathway. In this section, your mission is to help them answer: where they are headed towards and, to do so, we suggest that you help them to identify their professional projects. This in turn will help them to set goals, adding the contexts of social vulnerability with the aim of identifying opportunities and possible threats.
This will all prepare them in defining a pathway that provides them with a working plan in order to keep moving towards the professional projects they aspire to.
